What's a Quick learn?

Love the idea of unschooling but not quite sure how to implement it in your homeschool? Looking for an alternative to the low grade clerical work that passes for curriculum?

Quick Learns help guide students with open ended activities aimed at encouraging creativity. Each Quick Learn is designed to guide students through a short, open ended activity. These projects introduce students to new skills and software which they can choose to further explore with our longer form 'Project Files'

In this Quick Learn:

Create the ultimate character and share their story in an interesting way. 

The Challenge for kids:

Everyone has a favorite character. Think about your favorite book, movie, or video game. What is it about that character that makes them so special? 

In this Quick Learn, you will create a unique character and share their story.

Expand your skills by physically designing your character using paper mache, fabric, clay, or digital art software. Then craft their story through audio, video, or in writing. Share your finished character & story with friends and family or the Creative Challenge Community.

Duration:

The recommended length for this project is 3 weeks.
